- It will be played in doubles.
- The doubles team can be either mixed or boys double or girls double.
- An institution/college is allowed to send in a maximum of 2 teams.
- A total of 8 teams will be taken.
- A match will be played for 29 points or 4 games whichever comes early.
- The selection of sides and strike will be decided by means of a toss.
- The tournament will be played on elimination basis.
- At the end of a game, each carrom man left on the board for the opponent will fetch the winning team 1 point. If the winning team covered the queen during the course of the game, it will fetch an additional of 3 points. This shall however continue till a team reaches 24 points.
- No bonus point shall be given to a team covering the queen from the 25th point.
- The queen will be considered covered if it goes in a pocket with the striker’s own carrom man, during a shot.
- In case of a tie on points or game won, the teams will play a game to break the tie.
- Unfair means, if adopted by the players will be subject to disqualification of the team.
- The teams should reach the venue prior to 30 mins of the commencement of the match.
- In case a team fails to reach the arena prior to 10 mins before the commencement of the match, the team will be disqualified.
